I believe every woman needs at least one piece of clothing that can lift her spirit just by putting it on. When you wear a garment that instantly transforms any outfit into a statement of whimsy, elegance and joy you have the power to make every day an adventure.

With a strong sense of environmental responsibility, I utilize recycled textiles in every design. Working with vintage sweaters means an unending source of inspiration as well as ensuring that each garment is completely unique and unrepeatable.

Enlightened Platypus in The News

Here is some of the most recent attention my artwork has received:

Enlightened Platypus was featured in the Spring 2012 issue of GreenCraft magazine. You can check it out at your local craft/fabric/book store :D

Dream Coats were such a fantastic hit at the RAW show in April that Enlightened Platypus had to make an encore appearance in the September RAW showcase. It was a blast, with a hundreds of people attending!

Enlightened Platypus coats were spotted on the runway again in April! I’m proud to have been chosen as a RAW showcase artist right here in Denver.

Enlightened Platypus coats wowed onlookers as part of the Second Skin Fashion Show in New Hope, PA last October (2010). Fashion show guests were later able to purchase their favorite Dream Coat to raise money for Breast Cancer research. Art DOES make a difference!
