They're perfect! I told Erica our nursery colors and theme, and the canvas letters she made go perfectly with the rest of the nursery, right down to the adorable elephant background for one of the letters. I've ordered things from Erica for my nieces before, and am thrilled to finally have a chance to have her work for my own baby.

The very beginning of my painting called "Thrive"

"Thrive" temporarily hanging on the wall of my favorite coffee shop, Thirty Thirty Coffee Co in Peoria IL.

I am a full time mom of 3 and self-taught artist.

I have always had a passion for art, although I majored in physics for 3 years in college before switching to Economics where I got my bachelor's degree. Fast forward to 5 years ago, while pregnant with my 3rd child, I had a surge of creativity and have been painting ever since. At first I started painting bow holders and name canvases for children. Then, after becoming friends with a few different photographers, I began painting backdrops for them. Then, I was asked to paint a piece of art for an auction at my church based on some scripture; and that's when I painted my first flower with a mixed media background. I really enjoyed that experience and I've decided to take my art in that direction. I love the freedom of painting and I never know what the final piece will look like when I start. Faith and the desire to create beauty from chaos inspire me. Paintings are my visual prayers.
