Eyecatchers Boutique is a small home-based business in NC operated by Ellen McNeill since 2010. This shop and its sister shops, Eyecatchers Luxuries and Eyecatchers Attic, are together known as Eyecatchers Jewelry.
I just love running my etsy Eyecatchers shops. They provide an opportunity for me to have ONLINE businesses which was only a dream 11 years ago.
Etsy provides more of a “social selling marketplace” than others you find ONLINE. And the etsy support staff for shop owners is always helpful when it comes to all things etsy.
I've shipped some exquisite pieces of VINTAGE COSTUME JEWELRY to over 890 ladies in the United States and all over the world. Some of my customers reside in France, Italy, Russia, China, Sweden, Australia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Israel, Spain, Denmark, Taiwan, Norway, Lithuania, Turkey, Germany, Ireland, Finland, India, Singapore, Greece, The Netherlands and Canada. I sometimes use the etsy “translate” feature to communicate with some of our international customers.
Many of my customers tell me that they have found a piece they owned years ago that was broken or lost. Some of my customers have even shared their heartwarming stories with me about why they're buying a specific piece of jewelry. I love when they do that.
One of my favorite stories was shared by a young lady, Carole C. from Memphis, TN. Carole’s mom had lost an heirloom costume jewelry cameo brooch that was given to her by a special aunt. The cameo fell out into the snow when they were attending a funeral years before. Carole said they looked everywhere in the snow for the cameo but they were unable to find it.
Carole was absolutely thrilled when she found the exact cameo brooch in my EyecatchersLuxuries.etsy.com shop. She was able to buy it as a surprise gift for her mom. Can you imagine just how overjoyed Carole and her mom felt when the gift was given?

I was blessed to inherit hers but because of it's special meaning to me I didn't want to risk it becoming damaged with the everyday wearing of it. Now I can look down at my hand everyday and think of her while knowing my grandmothers ring is safe from all risks of being broken and damaged. Thank you, thank you! Product is great and the customer service was excellent!
