Made with natural yarns and woven on vintage looms, these fabrics are made in the age old techniques handed down many generations. Fabrics with a lot of character and history! Beautiful textures and colors for a charmed contemporary living!

Ahimsa Peace silk (also known as Vegan silk and Gandhi silk) fabrics are 100% Cruelty Free and 100% Natural Silk. Silk farmers practicing this method wait for the silk worm to grow completely and emerge from their cocoons. Silk is then extracted from these cocoons discarded after the silk moth has naturally emerged. A beautiful fabric, highly valued for its purity and shimmering, yet earthy, texture.

Cotton fabrics in my shop are organic, though not certified. They are grown by farmers and farming communities practicing earthy friendly growing methods.

All linen fabrics in my shop are heirloom quality. These fabrics are spun out of European flax and handwoven in India. Usually made-to-order for designers and hardly available in retail anywhere!
