Farida Zaman- Art with Sophistication & Flair

Farida is an illustrator, designer, and fine artist and has worked professionally in London, Geneva, New York, and Toronto. Farida’s work has an defined look – lively, colourful, whimsical, executed with flair and drama – art that always enhances and enlivens.

She has travelled extensively and her cosmopolitan background comes through in her style – a blend of cultures and with a love of food, music, and people from around the world – all giving strong influences on her work.

Her favorite mediums are watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and mixed and digital medium.

Farida has exhibited her work privately and in public exhibitions in several North American locations. Her work is also sold commercially through licensing designs and advertising agencies, publishers, and stationery printers.

Farida did her art foundation course at Chelsea School of Art in London and went on to graduate with honors from Wimbledon School of Art, also in England. Farida is a member of the Society of Illustrators in New York, SCBWI (Society for Children’s Book writers and Illustrators), and CAPIC (Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communication), where she represents illustrator’s interests.

She currently lives and works from her studio in Toronto, Canada.
