I design and create all of the jewelry in this shop. There is a mix of one of a kind and limited production fine jewelry. I am mindful that jewelry is as personal as the individual who wears it and that it should be timeless and comfortable enough to wear everyday. The precious metals market has been very volatile the past year evidenced by gold selling at $1900 and silver above $30 per ounce. I strive to create quality pieces that are cherished today and will as time goes by retain intrinsic value.

I am a constant observer of the decorative arts, design and fashion. My jewelry designs synthesize my diverse design vocabulary and my depth of knowledge of fine workmanship. The limited production pieces begin as a wax carving or as a fabricated prototype model. A rubber mold is made then multiples are cast. My original designs incorporate settings and components that I have designed and made. Some of the pieces combine a cast element with hand applied detail. I use recycled precious metals and gem stones from ethical suppliers whom I have built strong relationships.

My early career began when I moved to NYC after attaining a BFA in Metals. Not content with my craft education I apprenticed for a number of years with German jewelers in a trade shop where I learned the art of fine jewelry making.I later worked as a bench jeweler with a highly specialized high end jewelry manufacturer.

I am passionate about my jewellery and the knowledge of materials and techniques I employ to create each piece. I will promptly answer any questions you may have. Custom design work and re-purposing old jewelry is considered.
