I have been blowing glass since 1992, when I took my first gather at The Penland craft school. There is nothing quite like working with molten glass and I was instantly addicted to it. Upon returning home I knew I had to become a full time glassblower, so I immediately began building my "hot shop".

After enjoying a number of years showing at many of the major national art shows I decided to settle down and concentrate on selling work from my studio. The internet is a wonderful method of connecting directly with clients everywhere. Looking for a unique product to offer I decided to begin creating hand blown glass sinks. They were quite a challenge in the beginning. I had to learn to handle and control much heavier and thicker gathers of glass than I had been working with. It also required some larger equipment and a few "tricks" to lighten the load on my arms and back. I still need a strong assistant, but we don't have to worry about getting hurt.

I hope you will like my sinks as much as we enjoy making them. The vibrant, deep, rich colors are unique to glass. I think the magic I feel while working with the molten glass comes through in the finished product. And I think you will feel the magic too.
