Announcement    Do you sometimes prefer glitter to diamonds? Are you constantly searching for fun and quirky accessories that set you apart from the crowd? Do you like things just a little bit flashy?

Me too! That’s why I create jewelry that’s as bold and beautiful as the women who wear it.

I've been interested in fashion since my days of styling Barbie and designing with Fashion Plates. I even created a few pieces of jewelry back then. But I but didn’t rediscover my passion for jewelry until 2005. I started off slowly with a few beaded necklaces and then started to incorporate wire work into the mix. Eventually, I was drawn to the gorgeous color possibilities of polymer clay. Seriously, I couldn’t get enough!

Flambeaux Design Company was born in post-Katrina New Orleans in 2007. Today, I continue to create jewelry in my studio using polymer clay, copper wire, glass beads, and occasionally even buttons or found objects. Many of my pieces put a fresh spin on classic designs and are often vintage inspired. While other pieces may have a more contemporary feel.

It’s possible that you've seen my work around New Orleans at trunk shows, local art markets, boutiques, or my former pop-up shop at Fairy. You may have also read a bit about me in New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles, the Times-Picayune, The Gambit, The Cue, or maybe even a blog like Miss Malaprop, Nola Parent, or Polymer Clay Daily. New to Flambeaux? It’s truly a pleasure to meet you! We’re going to be great friends!

So, grab a cocktail, get comfy and have a look around my virtual boutique. I just know you’ll find something fabulous!
