WAY BIG NEWS!!! The Flotsam Furniture Works will be relocating to Portland, Oregon during the month of May. While I grow out my beard and otherwise get settled in the Pacific Northwest, the turn around time on custom orders will be a little bit longer than usual (instead of two to three weeks, it'll be more like four to six). The Flotsam Furniture Works endeavors to create distinctive furniture while incorporating reclaimed and recycled materials wherever possible. Each piece represents a motley collection of the new and used. Whether it’s an original design utilizing resawn salvaged barn beams in the frame construction, or a castoff chair that’s been stripped to the springs and rebuilt, each piece is made with as much consideration for the source of materials as for how they’re used in the final product.
