How it all started

We started cloth diapering shortly after our second child was born in 2008. He had extremely sensitive skin and we were constantly battling rashes from disposables. This got me thinking about what exactly was in those diapers that made them virtually impossible for my son to wear without a very thick layer of what my daughter called "heiny butter". I did a lot of research on cloth diapers and decided to give them a try. We tried several brands and types of cloth out and soon we were hooked. I have been sewing since my mom taught me when I was a kid so I decided to give making my own a try. I took my favorite parts of each and created my own patterns. After much encouragement from my best friend, I decided to start selling my diapers and Fluffy's Diapers was born.
