Thankyou so much to everyone who supported me at Unwrapped on Sunday it was a fantastic day and resulted in me almost selling out of my cushions, so now I will happily be creating some new collections. I have no home internet presently and I am moving in the next few weeks, so my creations will be seen with iphone pics on my Facebook page and once I have internet again, I will be listing a whole shopfull of beautiful new creations, and for the first time on Etsy I will be showcasing my girls wear and my range of : Haven Handbags along with some other unique handbags which I have created. Welcome to my Etsy store. My name is Rebecca Keals; I am the craftswoman behind the label Fluturi. I make and sell fabric handbags, homeware and girls clothes. Let’s be honest I love fabric! I am always amazed at all the wonderful designs, patterns and colours available and the endless possibilities fabric creates. I love how a beautiful fabric can transform a when paired with another regardless of the time elapsed in the release of the two. I really love to add different things to my cushions, and currently my large collection of vintage doily’s, lace and buttons are featuring heavily in my homewares designs, which are reminiscent of times gone by but with a modern style . When I started my business, it was only making handbags, as I was unable to find a comfortable yet washable bag for all of my daily needs, so because my fabric stash was huge and I really wanted to showcase beautiful patchwork fabrics without having to cut them into little pieces, I began. As you can see in my designs I always like to combine a variety of fabrics in each of my unique handbags, while making each one with special care to be certain it has a long and useful life with its owner, hence creating both a practical fashion piece as well as a keepsake. I am always inspired and motivated by my surrounds, new fabrics and pieces I find along the way as well as the encouraging feedback I receive from my fantastic customers, family and friends. All of my designs are created by me in my studio in Perth. When you purchase a Fluturi piece, be it a cushion, handbag or another of my creations, you can be assured that they are made with the utmost quality, with all seams triple stitched for strength and longevity, and only my best works available for sale.
