For Strange Women is a collection of 100% natural & handmade perfumes,adornments, and other eccentricities for women with a darker and unique beauty- although strange gentlemen are always welcome as well. I combine Victorian styles and pagan sensibilities to create products made with connections to nature as well as the past.

I use high quality essential oils and absolutes, ethically extracted from plants, to flavor and fragrance my products. I believe these are much safer and more satisfying to the senses than fragrances produced in chemical labs. However- I do want to explain that natural perfumes do not "carry" the way synthetics do. Our senses have been overloaded and desensitized by all the chemical exposure we now have, and as a result the natural perfumes seem to "wear off" in a shorter time than synthetic perfumes. In reality, this is the way it should be! The best part is that with natural perfume, you will find that the scent evolves over the course of wearing it and has a depth and complexity that cannot be found at department store perfume counters.
