I'd seen a blurb on some people making some interesting things with needlefelting last year, but had no idea exactly what it was. I mentioned to my daughter I was interested, and lo and behold, what did she cajole Santa into bringing me? My very first small kit of wool and set of needle felting needles. With absolutely no knowledge at all of what I was doing.

Since then, I've read, experimented, and learned probably more than I thought I would about wool, needles, festivals, superglue, sculpey and organization.

And I can't wait to see how I can incorporate music boxes (my other great love) into these little wool sculptures I feel compelled to make now. If my lovely little bunnies have personality, they ought to have a way to sing. And so far, every single thing I've made has come out of my hands with its own name, own song, and own philosophy.

But I digress...

This is my journey, my learning, and hopefully, my sending more wonderful little wool creations out into the world. My babies, if you will.. my lovely little wool babies.
