My products are hand felted, processed and dyed by yours truly! The fiber comes from a happy sheep farm in Western North Carolina. Each creation is totally original and hand made.
I use a technique called wet felting to make most of my goodies, which is a process where I make fabric by compressing, shrinking, and matting animal fibers such as sheep wool and alpaca fiber.
It's a low impact, earth friendly craft that uses very little materials--warm water, soap, and animal fibers of your choice.
There is little processing involved before the fibers reach my felting table. No recycled sweaters or washing machines are used--my materials are as raw as I can get them without having sheep in my own backyard!
