    Hermengilda is a member of the community of Rumira Sandormayo (RSM) located in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Knit Witts works directly with 13 women in the community. The woman of RSM are master weavers. Their weaving tradition is pre-columbian.

    Rumira Sandormayo (RSM) is located in the sacred valley of Peru. Knit Witts works with 12 women from RSM. The women grow up with the tradition of weaving that pre dates the Incan empire, is actually pre-columbian. The woman and Knit Witts work together to design products celebrating their weaving.

    Knit Witts partners with Nancy's family and her families Quechua tradition of hand knitting. We collaborate in designing hand knit products that combine the beautiful tradition of hand knitting and the intricate color work this region is known for, to create ethically made, natural accessories.
