Welcome to Gifted Designs, a small shop featuring beautiful, unique handcrafted jewelry by Montreal designer, Shannon Rochon.
Looking for that special piece to add to your collection? Have a special occasion where you'd love to dazzle guests and host alike? Or maybe you're looking for something to express your everyday style with individualistic chic or a very special gift for someone you love. No matter what you're looking for, Gifted Designs is there to help you find it.
Resin, glass, buttons, textiles, paper, found objects and plated pieces along with sterling silver, gold-filled, copper and semi-precious and precious stone work in harmony. Whatever the materials, the recipe for each OOAK piece remains the same...meticulous precision, quality materials and a whole lot of love.
Please note that my pieces are not meant for children as they have small pieces that could be swallowed if a piece is accidentally damaged.

Etsy has recently created a Coupon Code tool which is great for sellers. Please note that a Coupon Code that does not have my Shop Name and/or does not link directly to my shop is not valid for use in my shop. Thank you for your understanding.
Payment
PRICING: I do my best to provide the most accurate pricing possible to suit everyone. Whether you're from Canada, the USA or anywhere else around the world, you can be confident in the knowledge that the price is as accurate as exchange rates can allow. I therefore do not accept requests to lower my pricing though I will happily consider a discount on a large order.
I accept Paypal and money orders. Please note that if you are purchasing internationally, your money order must be an International money order or I will not be able to cash it. Items will only be shipped once payment clears. You do not require a Paypal account to purchase through Paypal. CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:
I can invoice you in CDN$ through Paypal! What this does is save both of us exchange rate conversions as Paypal charges an additional 2.5% to convert from US to Canadian and vice-versa. To do this, simply choose 'Other' in the Payments option and send me a convo with your preferred email address and I'll send you an invoice in Canadian funds...:)
Payment of your order must be received within 24 hours of checkout. If payment is not received at that time I will send you a convo to see if any help is needed. If I get no response I will cancel the transaction and relist the item. Thank you for understanding.
Layaway is possible. Please note that when you do so, you lock in the item at it's current listed price. When you are ready to purchase your layaway, convo me and I will reserve the listing for you. Layaways will be held for a maximum of 15 days, at which time the item will be reactivated for general sale.
Shipping
I ship twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays (though there is no delivery service on Saturdays in Canada). The reason for this is because of my inability to drive and working full-time. Getting to the post office before it closes can be challenging as a result. I always do my best!
Because I care about shipping my items safely, I do not offer letter mail delivery. I would need to cut down my jewelry boxes for that which ruins their stability and makes it easier for the processor to squish and therefore damage your purchase. I therefore ship Parcel.
Alas for Canadians, it is often more expensive to ship within Canada than to ship Internationally (crazy I know!). Price ranges vary from 8-14$ depending on distance. I have listed according to an average based on the information acquired on CP.ca as Etsy has no way to put in separate shipping for locations within countries for now.
Please be aware that the price indicated on an envelope is the shipping only and does not include things such as the cost of the envelope and other posting materials. These other charges are included in my shipping and handling rates on Etsy and so are not overages. However, if the cost of shipping your item is over 1$ from the cost of my shipping & handling, I will refund those overages.

Shipped by Regular Parcel with Canada Post. Shipment can be received in 2 to 13 business days but this is not guaranteed. Delivery Confirmation and 100$ worth of insurance are included.
~US SHIPPING~
Shipped Small Packet USA Ground with Canada Post. Shipment can be received in 6 to 12 business days but this is not guaranteed. 100$ worth of insurance is included. There is no tracking or Delivery Confirmation.

~INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING~
Shipped Small Packet International Air. Shipment can be received in 6 to 10 business days but this is not guaranteed. 100$ worth of insurance is included. There is no tracking or Delivery Confirmation.
~SURFACE SHIPMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL~
You can request shipment to be made via Ground instead of Air, however, the cost difference is only between 1.50$ and 2.00$ depending on Destination.
Shipments by Ground can take as much as 4 to 6 WEEKS to reach you. Please send me a convo prior to purchase so I can reduce the shipping charges for you.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not ship to Italy or Mexico as Jewelry and/or Silver are not allowed to be imported there. Thank you for understanding.
If you live on the Island of Montreal, I would be pleased to arrange either for pick-up or personal delivery to save you some shipping dollars! Simply convo me so we can exchange our information and I will revise the listing for you before you purchase!
All items are INSURED for both our protections.
~EXPEDITED SHIPPING~
If your purchase is time sensitive, I highly recommend convoing me to upgrade your shipping to a higher level of Canada Post delivery or UPS/FEDEX. I will be happy to send you a quote for your purchase to ensure you get it in time!
Please be aware that I do not mark my sent packages as gifts as that is illegal and can incur huge fines. Any duty fees/taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
~PACKAGING~
Items will be shipped in lovingly wrapped cotton-filled jewelry boxes as well as bubble-wrapped for safety. The jewelry will arrive pinned to the cotton to reduce how much it will be moving around during shipping. Remove these pins carefully as they are sharp! You can either continue pinning your pieces, or throw out the pins afterward. I highly recommend that you keep the boxes the jewelry will come in, especially for the sterling and copper pieces, as the cotton in the boxes helps reduce tarnishing and will prevent your pieces from being scratched or damaged by your other jewelry (and your other jewelry from being scratched or damaged as well!). A small thank you card will accompany your purchase as well as care instructions, if applicable.
~GIFTING~
If your purchase is a gift, please convo me to ask me about gift-wrapping! I LOVE gift wrapping and I also create unique creations that are as much a gift as the present itself! Gift-wrapping is currently at no extra cost! I can also send your gift directly to your giftee!
I would love to receive a convo or email when you have received your items so I can be assured of their safe arrival and your satisfaction...:)
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS:
I want my customers to be happy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order I will refund the amount of the item once it has been returned in it's original packaging at your cost minus original shipping fees. Your request must be done within 7 days upon receipt of your order and items must not be used.

DAMAGED ITEMS:
Damaged goods need to be photographed in as great detail as possible for insurance purposes. The condition of both the item and the packaging is important and the photographs should then be emailed to me at shannon[at!]gifteddesigns[dot]com.
Please ship back the damaged goods as well as ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIALS (insurance requires this to make a sucessful claim). I will either repair the original, make you another item of the same caliber or refund you depending on your preferences. If I can repair the item or replace it and we agree to do that, I will ship the item to you once more at my cost. I will refund you the cost of the initial shipping back of the damaged goods as well.

I am currently not taking custom orders, though I will gladly modify a listing if possible for an additional fee. Please convo me for details.
I am willing to change out french ear-wires for posts and vise-versa at no extra charge. A change from silver-colored wire to sterling is also possible for an additional 3.00$ charge.
