..... ABOUT GRACELAND JEWELRY......
I see jewelry as a tangible narrative of experience. It holds memories and elevates daily life by imparting a spirited bravery and beauty to the wearer. Worn throughout history, it speaks volumes about the wondrous traditions and beliefs of humankind. My work is an exploration of contrasts-precious and primitive, refined and rough, dainty and dynamic. I like how metal and textiles are recorders of the effects of time, both becoming deeper in character as life presents its inevitable tarnish and fade. I am drawn to the rhythm that repeating forms, like links in a chain or a fabric’s geometric pattern create to become visual mantras. With color, I pay tribute to the warmth of desert sunsets and the cool tranquility of ocean waves and moonscapes. I like to breathe new life into old materials in order to build something fresh and exciting, yet that still bears an aura of antiquity. I am thankful to have such a strong drive to create and to live a life awash in endless inspiration.

All of my designs are hand made by me with integrity and mostly one of a kind or limited edition. I use vintage and natural materials and hand-dye all of my fabrics.

For the ready made items, please allow 3 to 5 days for the your order to be processed and ready to ship. If it's urgent, please contact me, I can accomodate! For the made to order items, it usually takes between 7 to 15 days for your order to be ready to ship. But again, if it's urgent, let's talk.
