1 out of 5 starsThis is the worst transaction I have had the misfortune of experiencing in many years of buying on Etsy and on eBay. The item arrived with the bottom tray of the piece broken in a way that couldn't be repaired. When I contacted the seller, she said "oh yeah, I didn't put a piece of styrofoam on the bottom (of the box)" and then refused to refund me, saying she would file a claim with FedEx and I would have to wait for the claim to be paid. After a week of no contact, I pinged her and she told me "you can check on this yourself." Finally FedEx sends the refund check, she refunds me on Etsy for $11 less than the refund she received from FedEx - because she needed to "pay Etsy and CC fees." NOT. MY. PROBLEM. The refund I got is $40 less than what I paid for a broken item! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER!

There is always one person out if many who mis represent the facts. I actually said I put a piece of Styrofoam on the bottom. I filed her claim within 24 hours for her and when she didn't get the money in a week, she went ballistic. I got a check for her in less than two weeks. In the mean time she was bullying me with emails so I said you are welcome to check on the status but not enough time has ellapsed. One part of a large set was broken and she got 90% of the total amount. FedEx would not give her all the shipping. I didn't say I needed to pay Etsy, the fees are taken out. She's nuts. I fight for refunds for all my customers and very rarely have something broken. No I do not refund until the claim is paid. That's my policy. Email me if you'd like to discuss before purchase.

4 out of 5 starsVery helpful seller, shipping was reasonably fast considering holiday volume. Chair was well packed and survived Greyhound cross country. Nice item, I will like it even more after some light cleaning and with restored seat and back -- have selected the fabric, and it's at the upholstery shop right now!
