Hi! My name is Katie and I come from a long line of crocheters (grandma, mom, brother, sister, aunts, cousins) and although I first learned to crochet when I was in grade school, it didn't become a passion until I became a mom. 15 years and 3 kids later, it has become the perfect medium for me to accomplish something fun, beautiful and creative. I started out just making hats and blankets for friends' baby showers and as I started to get inquiries from other people about them, I decided to look into Etsy...and here I am! I've been on Etsy for 11 years now as the sole owner/creator for Hat And Cold Crochet, hand crocheting every hat and photo prop sold (3,300+).
