I begin my process by creating my designs with prisma markers. -
Each knob is then painted with primer and the designs are hand drawn in pencil. I take great care with each piece. -
Details are important. Every knob and switch plate has 4 coats of gloss sealant for durability. -
This is my work space in our spare bedroom. I love the view of the woods in all its changing seasons. -
My dog Tuka is my loyal work companion and keeps me company while I work.

I got a degree in art education from Colby-Sawyer Collage in 2000 followed by my Masters degree in 2007. I teach art at a public charter school grades k-8 and absolutely love it! Owning and running Hawkes Hollow is my pride and joy!
