I always follow the pattern for the size I am told but there are several ways to measure.....I decided to do some research and realized there are MANY ways one could measure a head but below is the proper way to measure!!
Measure around the forehead, over the top of the ears and behind the head around in inches will give you the proper size for which I am making the hat.
