A Handmade Journey

Heidi-and-Seek Boutique was started in 2009, in a little dorm room in college. I received a sewing machine for Christmas, along with the book "108 Ways to Transform a T-shirt", and I was hooked!

Being the broke college student I was, and having tried some pillowcase skirts with my sister when I visited her at college, 'I thought, I'll buy some materials from the thrift store to experiment a bit'. My experiments turned into a full fledged passion, and led me to complete my certificate in Apparel Design at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

It's 2022 and I've just launched my own website, www.heidiandseekboutique.com where you will find all my clothing, accessories and art! My Etsy shop will remain open with only art prints at this time.
