My fur animal friendly 'fur' coats & accessories are tufted by using traditional Scandinavian Rya Rug sewing technique. Tuft yarn is combed 100% lamb’s wool that is specially spun so the threads keep together at the cut, and won’t fray or unravel as normal knitting wool might do, not forgetting to mention its moth resistance. Products are lined with thick satin for a luxurious finish. All zips used are Anti-Nickel finished.

In the coats I have made my dream of creating functional fashion true. They are made as “2 - 3 garments in 1”. Under the tuft, in the horizontal cuts I hide zippers which are used to adjust the length of the hem or the sleeves to make one coat go with anything and anytime!

I also create wonderfully detailed accessories (collars, stoles, hats, etc) and interior textiles (cushions, wall hangings, mats,...) crafted from wool and recycled fabrics.

Every piece of my work is hand made in my workshop in my former workshop in picturesque Delgany village in Ireland's County Wicklow. Products are named individually – with a story that, in these tough times, is to give the carrier of the garment positive thoughts about herself. Every item also comes with comprehensive care instructions.

Animals and their welfare are very important things to me and I contribute to it by donating a percentage of every sold Heli-product's final price to WSPA (World Society for Protection of Animals).
