- What is the difference between hemp twine and cord?

The difference is in how they are made. Twine is made with 3 strands of hemp fiber and cord 6. Cord is round and polished and does not have lumps or knots like some twines can have. Twine and cord both work well for macrame jewelry but there is a difference in quality between brands. If you have any questions about which is best for your project please contact us.
