Handmade wreaths made using Hickory nuts, acorns, magnolia seeds, pecans, seed pods, and pinecones found in Hickory, North Carolina. I gather the nuts and accent pieces from under the trees in the Ivey Arboretum and downtown, historic Hickory. Each nut is collected by hand and inspected to make sure it is in good condition and a vibrant color. I bake the nuts in my oven to create a glossy surface and to make sure all stray critters are removed. Each accent piece is hot glued to the wreath one at a time, and accent faux foliage or berry sprigs are attached for added color. Each wreath is unique and varies slightly to reflect the variety of nuts available.
NEW! I am pleased to announce the addition of Fine Art Photography to my shop.
