Her artwork has also been featured in online articles as well as retail shops in San Francisco, San Mateo and San Jose California, Recently partnered with The Winchester Mystery House for a special collection inspired by the mansion and Sarah Winchester, her pieces can be found in their gift shop! Her unique Day of the Dead masks are prominently displayed at Rocco's Tacos which is an upscale tequila bar and restaurant chain in the states of Florida, Louisiana, and New York.
Every year she donates to help feed the children and the animals.

Her first years of college she had a professor who inspired her with color and a professor who challenged her to create a light fixture which lead to her creating and selling fixtures of her own. Her travels to Europe and her time in design school inspired her to open her own online shop where she now sells her creations worldwide. Her art pieces are now worn by performers and everyday people all around the world.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Aya has been surrounded by creativity her entire life. Her studies at the Academy of Art in San Francisco focused on architecture and interior design but she has always been drawn to creating wearable art. Her childhood studies included music, photography, painting, and the Japanese art of "Ikebana" floral design. As a young adult she has dabbled in clothing, jewelry design, women's fashion, and bridal accessories. She has worked as a designer for the Ah Sam florist in San Mateo California and as an artist for the Bourjois French makeup company in San Francisco.

Aya was married to her soul mate in May of 2012 and was recently blessed with her first child. Her new family currently resides high in the California Redwoods of Santa Cruz county.

Aya is currently creating unique hand painted Day of the Dead masks that combine traditional designs with her own special twist. She also creates one of a kind bridal pieces, hair fascinators, jewelry, mini English "tea party" top hats, original photography, and now paper crafting and baby clothing!

My favorite part about being an artist here is making things that connect to people and inspire. All the greatest artists from history worked together and collaborated together. I have met so many great people here on Etsy and I have been given the chance to work with so many sweet people, many who have become my friends.

Thank you everyone so much for finding my shop and letting me share
my creations with you! ♥

Please Read our 'Shop Policies' to better understand our process for our orders.
