HistoricStitcher's Shop Announcement
We've been busy around the House of Historic Stitching! New products, new fibers, new look!
NEW!! Batt Boy Creations!! Handmade crayons using high-quality wax in fun shapes and colors! Add some pizazz to your coloring or just make a child smile.
Batt Boy Batts are drum-carded batts made by my 9-year old son. He chooses the colors, makes the batts, and names them to suit his artistic sensibilities. They are unique and one-of-a kind (and help teach him a proper work ethic, as he's saving for a Wii!)
My llama fiber comes from a family-owned farm in southeast Michigan where they have been breeding out the guard hairs for over 25 years. They have never sold their fiber before, and all llama offered here is from the 2007 shearing. The roving has been processed by Zeilinger's in Frankenmuth, MI, and the batts were hand-processed by me. Both methods create a luscious and soft, easily-spun product.
