Hello, Welcome to The HouseofDewberry and The Haunted Woodland of Weir a place where I can share and make available to you my home made props, decor and macabre creations.
My props and sculptures are created from paper mache, recyclables and found objects (unless stated in the description found on the items listing) I have a passion for repurposing discarded things or items that no longer serve a purpose as well as creations made completely from my imagination.
I like my creations to look just as pleasing in the light as I do the dark. I feel that props can sometimes, without the proper lighting look rather garish in the light, yet spectacular and very scary with the proper lighting in the dark. Which I will add sometimes cannot be remedied, it's just the nature of prop making.
I am very much focused on both aspects when designing a new prop.
You will notice in my pictures that I try to give examples of both, pictures taken in a brightly lite area and then the dark with colored lighting effects. That way you can see the possibilities of each piece.
