I created Indigo Sage after my second child was born. I wanted to be able to work from home so as to be available to my children and create my own schedule. As a perennial designer, maker, and artist, I decided to start a clothing company based on my ideals of quality, sustainability, and social responsibility.

I take my inspiration from the beauty of the natural world around me, and design pieces that I know I would like to wear. My bikinis are available in an eco-friendly option that is made from recycled nylon from ghost fishnets. I also offer a high-performance, nylon spandex blend that is great for water sports.

For my resort wear collection, I use fabrics made from natural materials like organic cotton, bamboo, wool, silk, hemp, modal, and Tencel. These pieces are comfortable and easy to wear while also being chic, sophisticated, and sexy.

My goal is to produce quality items that my customers love and enjoy wearing over and over again. I want my customers to feel good in their clothes, and to feel good about the company they are supporting.

I lived in Hawaii for 20 years and drew so much of my inspiration from this beautiful place. I now live in Vancouver, BC (another beautiful place!) and all items now ship from Canada.
