I completely relate to this quote by Claude Monet referring to his love of flowers. I always have fresh flowers in my home and love the flowers in our garden. However, it wasn't until a few years ago that I combined my other obsession for photography with this love of flowers which has resulted in something that brings me true joy. I can't think of a better way to start each day, than pick up my camera and photograph beautiful flowers or something pretty that catches my eye and then create something artistic from my photographs.

What can I say, I just love pretty things!

When I create a print for my shop I like to use textures and overlays in Photoshop to give each print an artistic look. I often spend hours working on a print trying different techniques out before I settle on what feels right.
