JamesFreeman's Shop Announcement

Welcome to my online storefront.

The main focus of my ceramic work is on sculptural fine art pieces intended for collectors and gallery exhibitions. If you wish, you may view some of these pieces or read my artist statement and exhibition history on my website, www.jamesfreemanstudio.com. If you are interested in my sculptural work or in commissioning a piece, feel free to contact me.

In addition to my sculptural work, I also create smaller functional and decorative pieces intended for everyday use and display. I do not crank out mass-produced cookie cutter production pottery. Like my sculptural work, these functional pieces are individually hand crafted and are produced in very small runs, and I perform every step in the process myself in my own studio. As such, each piece is unique and the offerings on this site are limited. Again, if you are interested in commissioning functional or decorative work in specific sizes, glazes, or quantities, please contact me.

Most of my functional and decorative work is porcelainous stoneware fired to in excess of 2200° (cone 6) in an electric kiln, though I do on occasion produce wood-fired, salt-fired, and high-fired pieces. I do not use any lead glazes. All of the functional work is microwave and oven safe.

Stated shipping charges are for the continental United States. Please contact me for shipping to AK, HI, or overseas. If you purchase multiple pieces I will be happy to combine them in one package to save on shipping. Simply contact me and we can work out the details. While I prefer PayPal, if necessary I can accept a check or money order, but cannot ship the work until my bank notifies me that it has cleared.

Thank you for perusing my work.
