Pet tag collars, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, greyhound items. Greyhound charities benefit from percentage of the profits. I am also 'HoundMade Designs' here on Etsy and I'm in the process of transferring all of the dog items to that shop. Find me here:

I design and create using a mixture of new and vintage materials, and a variety of techniques including micro-macrame.
I love to incorporate vintage components where possible, but all earring wires, studs, or hooks are guaranteed to be new, as are all clasps for bracelets or necklaces. It will be clearly stated if vintage materials are used in an item.
My designs are seldom repeated, although from time to time I may do a short series of a particular item if it proves to be popular. Please do ask if you would like me to make something in a different size, or with different colours, or a different clasp, etc, and I will help if I can.
A percentage of the profits from the sale of my jewellery will be donated to a greyhound charity. Until further notice, 50% of the profit from greyhound items will go to Brambleberry Greyhounds.
Thousands of racing greyhounds retire each year, and hundreds more fail even to begin because they are too slow or just not interested in chasing. The average age for retirement is between 3 and 5 years old, and these are dogs with a life expectancy of 12 to 14 years, so you can see there is a HUGE amount for the adoption agencies to do. In England, this is largely done by the Retired Greyhound Trust, along with many small greyhound rescues. Brambleberry is one of them.
With the sheer number of dogs to adopt out to pet homes, you might think the task was hopeless, but more people are realising what great pets they make.
We like to remind ourselves from time to time of the 'Starfish Story' ...
It was an anthropologist called Loren Eiseley who wrote the story, which he called 'The Star Thrower'. Many people believe it embodies the ideal approach to animal rescue. In short, it's about a man throwing stranded starfish back into the ocean after a storm. When he was told there were so many that he couldn't possibly make a difference, he threw yet another back into the water and said:
'It sure made a difference to that one!'
If you have a rescue dog, you might like the small range of starfish tag necklaces in my shop. You'll find them in the greyhound section, but I can make them in different sizes - just convo me and I will do a custom listing for you.
