All hand-sewn items are made on a c1936 Model 15-91 Singer sewing machine in a smoke-free and cat-free home (but not dog-free, though they're little and aren't allowed in the sewing room). Feel free to convo me if you have any questions! (you can see pictures of my sewing machine here: http://www.jessaluknits.com/2009/03/20/ecf-12/)

I am MORE THAN HAPPY to do custom orders! If you see two fabrics on two different bags that you think will make a lovely bag for yourself or if you have a general color/print idea kicking around and would like to design your own SbJL bag please don't hesitate to contact me! (please note that custom requests are for fabric only - I cannot take requests for custom bag designs at this time)

JessaLu's Shop Policies

Welcome

Hi! Welcome to my little corner of the interwebs! I hope you find something you'll love!

Payment

Paypal is my favorite way of online payment. It's fast, it's easy and best of all, if you use Paypal to pay for your item, you receive it super fast!

Please pay amount due immediately upon purchase using Paypal. If you can't pay immediately, please be sure to pay or contact me regarding payment within one business day. Thank you!

If you do not like to pay with Paypal, I suggest you go to my url: www.stitchedbyjessalu.com to purchase. There are more payment options available, including Amazon Payments and secured credit card options.

Shipping

If this is a domestic order, your item will be shipped using First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation within seven business days of receiving payment. Thank you!

International (including Canada) orders will be shipped via First Class Mail. I feel International Priority Mail is too expensive and, unfortunately, does not offer reliable tracking. If you wish to pay for International Priority, I am happy to send it that way. Please convo me prior to paying for your order and I will adjust it accordingly. At this time, the cost is $12 to Canada, $14 to all other countries.

If you wish your international order to be tracked outside of the US, the USPS offers Global Express Guaranteed service. For one bag, the cost is $32 (that is my cost with no markup). If you wish to have your bag shipped this way, please convo me and I will put up a reserved listing for your bag with this shipping cost.

Thanks for understanding!

Refunds and Exchanges

Please note that I take care to have fabric colors represented correctly in bag photos. However, the fabric pattern print location on the bag that ships to you may vary. That being said, I hope that every item that is purchased from my shop is received with much happiness! However, if you decide you do not like something, you have two business days after receiving your item to change your mind. Please note, however, that I try to photograph everything with as much accuracy as possible. If you have a question about color, please convo me prior to purchase. Also, only the purchase price will be refunded, not shipping.

Additional Policies and FAQs

**SHOP HOURS**

I live in Massachusetts (Eastern US Time Zone) and I have found that I need to step away from the computer/email from time to time so I don't get burned out and decide to stop making bags. If you send me an email after 8pm or on a Sunday, please don't be upset if you don't hear back from me until the next business day.

*********************************************************************************

If you have some fabric that you'd love to be made into a bag or a skein of sock yarn that you'd love to have made into socks please convo me and we'll discuss it! Circular Sock Machine cranked socks from your yarn start at $15/pair (not including shipping - that's an extra $5 for Priority shipping with tracking) for a plain knit sock with 1.5" of mock ribbing at the top. If you want 'real' ribbing the price, unfortunately, has to go up since using a ribber can be a bit of a touchy proposition. ;o) If there are leftovers from your skein, I will send them back to you with your socks.
