Hello everyone, thank you for your interest in my work. You might be wondering, "what's with this crazy person painting hundreds and hundreds of layered dots and concentric circles on rocks and random objects?" Well it's a long story, but basically my painting process has evolved out of a need for art making to be a calming, meditative experience that takes my mind out of the routine of everyday life. It is creating an escape from the need to be entertained, the anxiety, and the clinging and material desires that can dominate our thought. My hope is that the work I create can pass this experience on the the viewer or act as a reminder to find ways to escape from the rough waters of the everyday mindset and find their own calm, more reflective place, if only for a moment now and then.

Every item for sale will be signed and dated or accompanied by a signed and dated certificate of authenticity (in the case of rock paintings) so as to not distract from the visual experience of the object. A light protective sealant can be applied if requested.
