A heartfelt WELCOME to my Etsy home!
Here is a place where you will always find work that is organic yet contemporary, raw yet elegant ... work that is always beautifully crafted, spirit infused ornament for the urban primitive.

My medium of choice is metal clay - fine silver, steel and bronze ... metal powders in a clay-like base. Each metal-clay element is formed by hand and is unique. My fingerprints are visible in each piece ... quite literally "the hand of the maker."

I love combining potentially disparate elements ... fossilized bone with faceted gemstones, base metals with fine silver, silk and linen with leather. I've somehow managed to assimilate a crazy mix of influences and interests into the distinctive jewelry shown here ... a style that I've dubbed Urban Primitive.

'Urban Primitive' really sums up my process and my work ... ultra-modern metal clays - fine silver, bronze and steel, with truly ancient fragments of fossilized bone, shell and Roman glass, add a bit of sparkle and shine in the form of faceted gemstones and artisan lampwork glass, finish with blessings written on silk and lashed to the necklaces with linen ... spirit infused ornament!

L I G A - what is it?
Many of my new pieces have a blessing written on silk or ribbon that is lashed to the cord or chain with waxed silk. That blessing is, "love, infinite grace, abundance", sometimes with a mustard seed tucked into the wrap. My intention is that you will always have faith and know that your are surrounded by love, infinite grace and abundance . . . l i g a!

I always look forward to new opportunities for growth and exploration and I love that my jewelry is ever evolving, a never ending 'work in progress'. I hope you'll check back often as this amazing journey continues.
