Please note that the almond nougat candies are covered in edible confection rice paper- the rice paper is very thin and melts upon contact with your mouth so it will not interfere with the taste of the nougats. We wrap the nougats in edible confection rice paper so that it does not stick to the outer plastic wrapper.
