Welcome to KnitterSweet! I like Cris Carusi's notion that "Knitting creates beauty from knots." Knitting seems to me the perfect marriage of creativity & organization--in variously winding one long fiber around two wooden sticks, one can magically create something wonderful to wear, snuggle into, or even play with!
All of my creations are handmade originals, knitted in a smoke-free, cat-friendly home. My aim is to recycle & repurpose yarn as much as possible, as I am committed to preserving & caring for our earth & its many resources. I am kind of a sucker for great yarns--pretty colors, fun textures--so many of my projects are designed to take advantage of the growing stash of yarn I already have! This means that many times the items shown here are one-of-a-kind, however, I will try to honor special requests as I am able.
