Welcome to Kreated By Kelly! I'm Kelly, an indie artist designing and creating wearable and usable art right from my own li'l sewing studio!!! I just love to make pretty things & rustic things & vintage inspired things.......I love love love making stuff. You never know what you might find here. I am completely driven by my whims. The only thing that all of my items have in common is a keen attention to detail :)
KreatedByKelly is home to color, fun & whimsy! Whimsical handmade jewelry, accessories, pretty handmade clothing & romantic upcycled clothing are my specialties. Buttons: antique, vintage & new; interesting textile & mixed media composition, lots of different color palettes, touches of whimsy & a quirky translation of the ordinary are the trademarks of my work. I love taking the old & reinventing it into the new to be loved & treasured daily rather than squirreled away & hidden. As such, you will find lots of vintage buttons, fabrics, & findings scattered throughout my work.
I have been a seamstress for over 15 years, but when planning my own wedding in 2004 I fell in love with all things non-traditional weddings & hence was born the beaded button bouquet combining my love for all things sparkly with the cutest quintessential sewing item - the button!! After years of making bouquets for all sorts of sweet brides, I no longer carry a stock of ready made bouquets but I work on these by custom request only. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you saw my work in a magazine, newspaper or online feature as I am happy to talk to you about your special day.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries as this is not included in the cost/shipping.
Payment can be made via Paypal, Credit Card, RME, google-checkout, amazon payments, personal check, or money order. All prices quoted here are USD (US dollars). NOTE: AT THIS TIME, I AM ONLY ACCEPTING PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL. Please contact me if you have differing needs as I will consider this on a case-by-case basis.
PAYMENT TIPS:
CREDIT CARD: To pay with credit card, click on the Paypal option. You do NOT have to create a Paypal account to use this option. Click on the "Pay with credit card" without signing in option on the left side of the screen.
PAYPAL: If you are using Paypal you can determine the cost in your currency by doing the following:
1. Log in to your account.
2. Click the Fees link.
3. Click View Currency Converter.
4. Enter the amount, select from which currency and to which currency.
5. Click Calculate.
Shipping
NOTE: If you are overcharged on shipping by more than $2, I will issue a refund shortly after I purchase your postage. As of 4/15/12, I will only ship international packages via USPS Priority Mail due to my difficulty in getting to the post office to ship via first class mail.
SHIPPING ADDRESS
Shipping is made to your paypal address unless you notify me otherwise. I make every effort to confirm addresses when there is a mismatch, but sometimes I forget. It is your responsibility to make sure that I have the proper shipping address.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA)
-Items are shipped within three business days via USPS First Class or Priority Mail
-Personalized items may take up to 14 days for me to complete and post, but I will keep in touch with you.
-Shipping charges include tracking to protect us both.
-Once the item(s) has been shipped, you will be notified of shipment and tracking information.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
-Items are shipped within one week of cleared payment via USPS First Class Mail.
-I am not responsible for any customs charges that may occur for any reason.
-Insurance is added to ALL international packages whose total purchase price is over $25 - this is to protect both you and me & it only adds a few dollars to your overall shipping/handling charges.
LOST PACKAGES
-Tracking is provided on all domestic packages. If you report an item missing and the tracking confirms it was received no refund will be issued until the appropriate claims have been filed with USPS & a determination made by the Post Master.
- Tracking is not provided on international packages so you need to contact me if a package does not arrive. International packages will not be considered lost until 30 days after shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be thrilled with your purchase, but I realize that there are times where you just aren't *smiles* In the event that you aren't happy, please PLEASE please give me the courtesy of open communication.
-Returns will be considered on a case by case basis & will be for store credit only. I will not refund shipping costs. Please do not return an item to me unless we have discussed it and I ask you to.
-If there are any issues with the quality of your order, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order so we can discuss the resolution of your choice (repair, replace, refund, etc).
-If we have discussed a return, item(s) must be returned within 14 days after you received your purchase. It must also be in its original condition.
Additional Policies and FAQs
*******CUSTOM ORDERS********
I love custom work and am always happy to set up a reserved listing for you here on etsy. My pricing varies and depends on the complexity of the project (ie: the time it will take me) and the cost of materials.
-Please allow 14 days from the day that the item specifics are finalized for me to complete your project (so if we finalize details on March 1st, then your item will be mailed by March 15th.)
-Sometimes I have a waiting list and you will have the option of being put on the waiting list. If you are on the list, you will need to allow 14 days from the date I anticipate being able to begin your project. I will always be in contact with you so you will know.
-Custom orders require communication from you so that I can get a feel for your ideas. Please be willing to communicate with me about your wants and needs.
******INDIANA RESIDENTS********
-I am a registered business in Indiana and the sole proprietor of Kreated by Kelly so I have to collect the 7% sales tax on your item.
-I am happy to arrange for local pick up in the Avon/Indianapolis area. Please convo me if you want to do that rather than pay for shipping.
******ITEM AVAILABILITY*********
My merchandise is taken with me on my vending adventures. There may be an occasion where an item is listed in my etsy shop, but was purchased the same day in another venue. If this happens, I will contact you. Depending on the item, I can recreate it quickly OR make a similar item.
I have never had an incident where this has occurred but I felt it necessary to mention it just in case.
