I touched brush to canvas for the first time at age 31 after having given birth to my fifth child. I was totally shocked to find out that I had this hidden talent within me and it has changed my life. Within the past ten years I have been able to exhibit in New York and Tel-Aviv and sell my paintings throughout galleries worldwide. Each of my original paintings comes from the technique within me. I work with whatever combination of tools and mediums I can find and do not believe in placing any rules or restraints on creativity. I am my own teacher and I now teach others to find the teacher inside themselves.
I was born in Upstate New York and today reside in a little studio by the Mediterranean sea. Traveling the world and observing other cultures is one of my passions in addition to raising my big, warm family.
When I start with a white canvas, I look for what I connect to in my heart, be it the view from a mountaintop or my feet which took me there.
