We use genuine natural leather for being a noble material to work with and it is also flexible, durable, lightweight and biodegradable. We do not use faux leather because it is not moldable and also is not ecological because it is not biodegradable.

Some types of faux leather are remnants of genuine leather sprayed and bonded with glues. But this processing completely breaks its structure and therefore lose the noble characteristics of leather. Also those glues reduce their biodegradability.

The leather masks are durables, flexibles, lightweight, don't discolor skin, and are hypoallergenic unlike latex or rubber masks. For that reason the leather masks are used since ancient times, and today, are preferred in theatrical performances.
