LaPetitePrairie's Shop Policies
My one of a kind handmade pieces are made with abandoned materials and vintage treasures lovingly made in hopes of becoming a piece of art that will inspire and enchant your heart. Please feel free to ask questions, I welcome them. My goal is to have a happy customer who loves their purchase.
I only accept PayPal at this time.
Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase. Transactions that are not paid for within 3 days will be cancelled and the item re-listed.
Please make sure your address is correct and matches both your PayPal and Etsy accounts. If they differ, it will delay your shipping time because it will not be shipped until you have given me the correct mailing address.
I will reserve items on a case to case basis.
If you need to cancel an order, please contact me within 24 hours.
I do not accept layaways at this time.
These are my terms for La Petite Prairie and Funky Junky Art which you understand and agree to by purchasing or placing an order in my shop.
I will get your package to the post office within 1 to 5 days unless otherwise stated on each listing. Please allow extra time for weekends and holidays.
I ship USPS First Class, larger items will be shipped parcel post which may take longer. If you need a faster delivery, please contact me before purchasing so I may give you quotes for other options.
I will ship out of the country. I do not list them, you will need to contact me and I will give you a price. Please note the customer is responsible for any import or value added tax. Please be aware of such taxed or fees before ordering.
Shipping fees cannot be refunded. This includes any returned as “undeliverable” or refund on a returned purchase. Please be sure and make arrangements to accept delivery with your local postal service.
Shipping prices are estimated to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind that shipping cost includes packing materials as well as postal fees.
Once the package has left my hands, I can not control how that item will be treated, including if lost, damaged, or stolen. I take great care in ensuring that all items are safely packed to protect against rough treatment, heat, cold, and moisture damage.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please remember it’s O.K. to ask questions about an item in my shop. If you have a question or concern about an item you see in a photo, please do not hesitate to ask before purchasing. I will respond to you as quickly as possible, with an honest answer. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
When you receive your purchase, please inspect it promptly upon delivery. If there is damage, please contact me within 48 hours. We will talk about a solution. If your purchase was out of the USA and went through customs, please have photos ready of the damaged item and packaging. Again we will work on a solution.
-Each item is a one of a kind item. If you have a custom order or personal price reduction, no returns will be accepted.
-If your purchase is vintage or antique remember they sometimes have flaws from being used over time. I will be sure to note these in each listing, so be sure you have read the listing before purchasing.
-If your purchase includes burlap, hand dyed papers, fabrics, and cheesecloth it can have an odor to it. This is a temporary odor that will fade.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Custom orders must be paid for before work is started. This includes modifying items, already listed or creating duplicates of items in my shop. Please remember that most items are one of a kind, made with vintage, reclaimed, recycled or salvaged materials and I cannot guarantee that I can make an exact duplicate of the original item.
