With an emphasis on quality, you'll find a range of handmade pieces ranging from fun, trendy & kitchy, to more traditional, classic, dark and elegant looks.....but always with an edge!
♥La Plume Noir is a labor of love owned and created by Jena Douglass, who has dedicated her life to the arts ever since she can remember!
As the years have passed, Jena has traded in her seed beads for real gemstones, thread for wire wrapping, but the sparkles, bright colors and eclectic taste have only been enhanced!
♥Payment is due at checkout. Make sure you follow all Etsy's steps to complete your purchase....all the way til you finish every step with Paypal! This ensures you've secured your item in La Plume Noir's shop, and paid for it to make it yours!
♥La Plume Noir takes Paypal AND any major Credit or Debit Cards as a form of payment. Paypal is oh so easy and you don't even need an account to use it! Just follow the payment instructions and you can pay online with your credit or debit card, check, or bank account.
♥♥♥ La Plume Noir is now a Verified PayPal user. In addition to increased security, buyers and sellers can value my Verified status because it indicates I have passed PayPal security checks.

♥In special circumstances, La Plume Noir will take Money Orders ~or~ well hidden cash. Message me to please let me know *BEFORE* your purchase if you will be using either of these methods to pay! Money Orders must be made out to Jena Douglass. Thanks!
♥La Plume Noir uses USPS First Class Insured mail to ship *most* orders. These items are typically larger pieces, heavier in weight and are usually higher in value. These items are $4.50 to pack and ship unless otherwise noted.
♥Any item that uses the $3.00 shipping method in the description *IS NOT INSURED*!! If you want to insure your smaller sized purchase message me FIRST, and I will change the shipping cost on your listing. Insurance costs $2.00
We always combine shipping on more than one item to save you money, and spare the earth extra packaging!
♥ALL packages shipped now include TRACKING in the shipping cost, no matter what you pay!!
♥If you would like a special delivery service for your purchase (such as next day, signature confirmation, etc...), please message me ahead of time, or along with your purchase in the "comments" box.
All additional or special shipping requests can most likely be taken care of -just be aware that additional costs will be added onto your invoice!
♥Regarding insured packages that have been shipped to you, if the package is lost during shipping, it is out of our control and NOT our responsibility. It is the responsibility of the US Postal Service. We will help track and find your lost package, but in the case of damage, YOU, the buyer, must take up that issue with the Post Office. If it is something we can fix, please look DOWN at the "Refund Policies"!
*We are NOT responsible for lost packages after they have left our hands at the Post Office!!
♥Unfortunately, *unless requested*, we do NOT offer insurance on international shipping. Again, send a message BEFORE your purchase if you would like to add insurance to your shipping outside the USA! Insurance on shipping outside the US will cost more, and your invoice total will have to be adjusted!
♥All orders will be sent out within 1-3 days of purchase unless special circumstances arise. In this case, you will be notified ASAP to let you know if there is a problem.
♥Regular shipped domestic packages *usually* take anywhere from 2-5 days to arrive from ship date.
♥In case a package gets lost in the mail, we will take care of tracking and locating it. The US Postal Office will only declare a package as "missing" only after 21 days from the original ship date. If a package cannot be located after the Post Office's mandatory 21 day waiting period, or if it is not returned back to La Plume Noir, we will replace or refund your order.

Refunds and Exchanges
♥La Plume Noir wants you to be happy with whatever you purchase, so please choose carefully because we do NOT accept refunds or exchanges!
♥All Items listed are sold "AS-IS", meaning what you see in the picture, or described in the description, is what you get! No alterations or substitutions can be done to an already listed item.
♥If you see an item you like, but want it changed, or want something added/taken away from the design, ask La Plume Noir if a *CUSTOM ORDER* is possible!! It will be a different listing, and depending on what you want, the price could possibly be more or less than a similar listing! :)
♥In case an item comes to you broken upon arrival, please notify La Plume Noir IMMEDIATELY!! We will take care of any damages that may happen *during* shipping and also cover any mailing costs involved getting it back to us for repairs, and then off to you again!
♥We stand behind the quality, durability and workmanship of our designs. Please keep in mind that handmade accessories are not indestructible and MUST be handled with care! This means that stones, glass and beads can break or crack if not handled gently, metal wire can bend, etc. Please do not pull or tug on jewelry, do not get jewelry wet repeatedly (i.e. washing your hands, showering, swimming, etc...), and keep away from babies and small children....there are small parts that could be a choking hazard, and these pieces are not toys!
♥La Plume Noir will NOT pay for repairs and attached shipping fees due to broken jewelry items because of lack of care or negligence by the customer.
♥We will be happy to repair items damaged by a customer, but repair fees will apply, and we will have to charge you for supply costs, time invested, and return shipping costs.
Additional Policies and FAQs
♥La Plume Noir has always been known for unique and custom orders, one of a kind designs, bridal specialties, and more!
♥Have something in mind you'd like, but don't see in the shop? Choose the "Contact seller" link to message us and inquire about placing a super special one of a kind custom order just for you!!! :)
♥ANY & ALL custom orders will require a $25 deposit BEFORE I even get started making your new jewels!! When the piece is finished, I will invoice you via Paypal for the remainder of the total price of your order!!
♥If You request to have an item to be placed on hold, or "RESERVED", it will only be reserved for a maximum of ONE WEEK. It is only fair so that if you do not wind up purchasing the item, it is fair game and can be put back into inventory for other customers to purchase if they are interested!
♥Please treat your jewels with care, they are not invincible! Do not shower or swim with jewelry on, as it might compromise the quality and strength of the materials as well as the look of the pieces.
♥Keep in a safe place when not wearing. If silver, gold or brass starts to darken and oxidize with exposure to air, simply shine with a jewelry polishing cloth, found at any jewelers, or arts and crafts store. *Also* Toothpaste, hot sauce and ketchup also do the trick! Anything acidic, even vinegar, with brighten up dull metal when applied and buffed with a soft cloth!
**DO NOT polish cameos, glass or plastic, beads or stones with toothpaste, hot sauce, ketchup, vinegar, etc.!!!! It may dull or compromise the finish and surface of those parts! Use acidic food stuff to polish metal ONLY!!**
♥La Plume Noir sells jewelry to stores under consignment or wholesale orders!! Please ask if you would like to carry La Plume Noir items in your boutique!
