LibertyWoodworking's Shop Announcement

Ever since I was a kid I would scavenge offcuts from construction sites to take home and make into shelves for the basement, a workbench, skate ramp, etc.
ReharvestedWood™ is simply a refined continuation of the same practice. Using scraps generated in my shop and some from the neighbors, I began gluing pieces together collage style to create functional pieces of recycled wood art. Few of the pieces are straight, most are long narrow wedges, up to sixteen feet long, and I arrange them to maximize the contrast of hues, textures, grain pattern, and shape. They are then bonded together by resin and intense pressure. The resulting planks can be made into furniture, cabinetry, widgets and so on. So far I’ve used it to build benches, tables, kitchen cabinets, and even skateboards!
