I believe we can find beautiful heirloom pieces that can be loved as they were made or re-purposed into modern day art for your person and home. My shop is filled with such items that reflect this.
If this item is a gift being shipped directly to recipient, I am happy to include a gift card at no extra cost. Please add a note in the "message to seller" area at checkout.
I try to describe all the items through both photography and description as accurately as possible and I will note any issues, marks or other. Due to the nature, the vintage pieces come with loving wear and worn condition. If you have a question about a particular item, please contact me prior to purchase. I am happy to try to answer with as much information as I can get and send more photos.

In an effort to save trees, I do not include an invoice receipt with your order. Should you like to receive a paper invoice, please include that in message to seller at checkout.

All new jewelry is made to order so please allow a few days to make the item. New jewelry is also packaged in an eco-friendly gift box. Who doesn't love getting a gift in the mail!

I ship USPS First Class in a padded envelope. Shipping costs for domestic US orders include signature confirmation. Shipping costs for International orders includes insurance*. USPS mail usually takes 2-10 days within states (little longer for Hawaii) and 10 - 45 international. Please note that all taxes, duties and customs fees associated with international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
Should you need it sooner or by a specific date, please let me know and I will get you an expedited shipping rate. I am happy to work with you as much as possible. Items are sent to address on Etsy receipt.
Due to the variant cost of shipping, rates are based on USPS from CA.

International lost parcels need to notify LilahV within 70 days of purchase receipt. You will then need to complete an affidavit and we will continue from there.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are made to order. Due to the nature of the pieces there are no refunds, exchanges or warranties associated. I try to be as flexible as possible though - so if the item is truly and substantially different than described, please contact me and I will accept a return of the item in its original box and refund monies minus shipping/handling costs and 25% restocking fee. Refunds will be made after item(s) are received back in the mail.
All my items are made to withstand general wear. However if a piece is in need of repair based on normal wear I will be happy to repair it within 3 months. LilahV is not responsible for tangled chains. I would be happy to replace a tangled chain for a fee, just convo me.
I ship delicate items between two pieces of cotton in a gift box and in a padded envelope to ensure its safe arrival. Should your item come broken, you will need to contact me within three (3) days of receiving the item with a picture of the item in its current state. Once I receive the broken item back, I will either repair or replace the item and ship it back with a small gift.
Please be aware the Moderne beads are vintage. Each one is handmade, slightly different then buried in a factory for over 20 years. Part of their beauty is due to their imperfections.

Care of Jewelry:
Keep your jewelry in a clean, dry place such as a fabric-lined jewelry box or wrapped in a soft piece of cloth. Store pieces individually so they do not scratch one another and keep away from direct exposure to sunlight and air.
Avoid bringing jewelry into contact with perfume, hairspray or harsh chemicals such as bleach or chlorine. It is best to put jewelry on last while getting dressed and to remove while washing hands, performing housework, swimming, or engaging in other strenuous activity. It's not recommended to wear your gemstone jewelry around heat (stoves, ovens, saunas, etc) as it can permanently damage your gemstones.
Over time, silver, and to a lesser extent, gold, will tarnish with exposure to air, chemicals, and oils in the skin. Pieces are best cleaned using a soft cotton cloth or felt with mild, non-abrasive soap and warm water. Be very careful not to dislodge any stones or wires. Rinse pieces thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storing. For best results, clean pieces periodically and handle with care.
