My name is Ingrid, I am weaver and I have a real passion for colours and beautiful textiles.
About the kimono cushions:
Last year, after doing research for a personal project, I fell in love with vintage kimono fabrics and before I knew it, I had a room full of those gorgeous fabrics! I decided I simply couldn't keep them all to myself and it was time to share ;-)
I source all my fabrics directly from Japan. They are unpicked from vintage kimonos, either before I purchase them or by me. I do occasionally find unused bolts of vintage kimono fabrics, which I use too.
I only work with 100% silk. I never use synthetics.
I often have enough fabric to make at least a pair, so if you see something you like but would like more than one, please let me know, and I will make a custom listing for you.
Kimono fabrics comes in approx. 13.5" width, which is why my cushions are 13"x13". I occasionally make different style cushions, when I want something a little bigger or different.
The insert is made of 100% duck down. If you wish to buy the cover only, without the insert, please let me know and I will deduct £3.50 from the cost.
