Mighty nice of you to drop by! Come on in and take a look around. I stock my shop with things I personally like. Many of them are hard to part with, but it makes me happy to have them go to people that are going to give them a good home. I want you to feel like you are in a small antiques shop, but without the musty smell !!
I remember when "vintage" used to be referred to as "old". Vintage has a better ring to it though. I love to collect items from the era of my childhood and have found myself with way too much! I have had years of pleasure from these items and now I want to pass them along to you. I also scour the junk stores and antique malls in search of what my customers like. And it makes me happy that these items aren't "old" after all, but "vintage"!
*** All of my items are clean and ready to be used when you receive them, unless otherwise stated. Doilies and tablecloths invariably have small amounts of staining, which just means that they were used in homes filled with love and joy and possibly messy eating. And one can always imagine that it was someone famous or important that put that gravy stain there!
*** I will always point out any flaws (that I can see!) such as loose threads, stains or chips. (Sometimes I even get the magnifying glass out, but that doesn't mean that I see every imperfection!) If you are like me, you will feel that those things don't take away from the reason you liked it in the first place. My theory is that if it is already scratched or dented, you don't have to be so darn careful with it! Kind of like when you get a new car - you sort of wish it already had a dent in it so that you didn't have to be the first one to do it!
*** My goal is to make sure that you are happy with your purchase and I will always strive to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. If you EVER have a problem with your purchase, PLEASE let me know. My goal is to make sure that you are so happy that you can't hardly wait to buy from me again!
*** My home is smoke-free. However, in the winter, we burn a wood stove which does have an aroma. I typically work out of the range of the wood stove. Our dog is a Bishon, so don't worry about dog hair - they don't shed.
*** The buyers and sellers that I have met on Etsy are by far the nicest people I have ever met! What a joy you all are!
