My obsession and love for the art of mosaics started with a very simple tiling job of a pass-through window from our kitchen to back patio. Although this was a straight-forward tile project it got me thinking of all the other things that could have been on that counter. From there I turned an old mirror into a treasure that now hangs in our family room, and again, this inspired me to create more. The colors and textures of glass that are available today are absolutely amazing and keep the creativity flowing. All of my projects - save a few purchased frames - are done using recycled glass and items I have found around my house, garage sales, and thrift stores. In fact, anything in my house that sits still for too long is at risk of being covered in glass!
