Welcome to my shop! My name is Chloe Patricia and I am a thimble maker.
The thimbles you see here do not look like the ones you are familiar with but if you asked Japanese people what shape do they think the thimbles are, majority would say ring shaped.
My thimbles are hand made, a kind of cross of embroidery and weaving on the ring body. They are made as working tools so you can use them for your sewing, but even if you are not comfortable using it as a thimble, it looks rather pretty just sitting in your work basket. I also make a bit bigger rings in the same way and maek them as pin cushions and recently I have started selling a thimble making kits, too.
