Mad Science Yarns is the perfect outlet for my experiments, and I hope you find some inspiration here.
MadScience yarns are individually dyed and most are one of a kind. My basic yarns, Mad Science Elements, include:
- Titanium, a smooth, strong 8 ply fingering weight Merino yarn
- Lithium, a smooth, light merino and silk lace weight yarn.
- Thulium, a luxury fingering weight blend of merino, cashmere and nylon
- Beryllium, a long wearing BFL/nylon blend, perfect for socks.
My Frankenstein series consists of an assortment of bases and changes all the time - it might be a base I was testing, or something I was only able to get a small quantity of. Each skein an original!
