NEEDLE FELTING ... WHAT IS IT?????
It is a fiber-art that seems primitive but is not.
Needle felting is the process of interlocking wool fibers by stabbing it with a barbed needle. The felting needle is very sharp the barbs catch the scales on the fiber and cause them to bind together. To sculpture wool in this technique can take many hours of work and literally thousands of stabs from start to finish.
